Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Toolhub website at toolhub.software and the browser-based tools and articles it hosts (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Toolhub is
Toolhub is a collection of small utilities that run entirely in your web browser. Using the Service does not require an account, a login, or payment. The tools process your input locally on your own device; Toolhub has no backend database that stores the content you type into a tool. For detail on data handling, see the Privacy Policy and How We Handle Your Data.
2. Provided "as is" — no warranty
The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The tools are offered as convenient utilities, not as professional, legal, financial, medical, or engineering advice. Outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying any result before relying on it, especially for decisions with financial, legal, safety, or health consequences.
3. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toolhub and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any loss of data, profit, or business — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Service is provided free and processes data in your browser, your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content you have no right to process;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service or the infrastructure it runs on;
- Systematically scrape, mirror, or resell the Service in a way that degrades it for others or misrepresents its origin;
- Use the Service in a manner that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
5. Intellectual property
The site name, written articles, and page content are the property of the Toolhub operator unless otherwise noted, and may not be republished wholesale without attribution. You retain all rights to the input you enter into a tool — it never leaves your device, so Toolhub claims no rights over it.
6. Advertising
Toolhub may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, to help cover hosting costs. Advertising cookies are only set with your consent, which you can change at any time. How ads and cookies work is described in the Privacy Policy. Some footer links are affiliate links, disclosed in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
7. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party infrastructure (for example, the site host and content-delivery network). Toolhub does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
8. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic and the applicable law of the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be raised through the contact page.
