Privacy Policy

The short version

Tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you type into them is sent anywhere. We measure aggregate, anonymous visits with Plausible Analytics (no cookies). If you choose to opt in, we may also serve display ads via Google AdSense, which does use cookies. You can decline ads at the consent banner; the rest of the site works identically either way.

What we collect

• Tool inputs: nothing. Everything you paste into a tool stays in your browser. No tool sends data to a server.
• Visit analytics: Plausible counts page views, referrer, country, and device type — anonymously, in aggregate, without cookies. Plausible's data policy covers what they do and don't collect.
• If you accept ads: Google AdSense sets cookies and may use them to personalise ads. Google's practices are governed by Google's advertising privacy policy.
• If you decline ads: no advertising scripts are loaded, no advertising cookies are set, ad slots are removed from the page.

Cookies

The site itself uses one localStorage entry (toolhub:consent) to remember your ad-consent choice, plus a theme entry for your dark/light preference. Neither leaves your browser.

Plausible uses no cookies. Google AdSense uses cookies only if you accept them — you can change your choice anytime via the consent link in the footer.

Third-party services

• Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, GDPR-compliant, EU-hosted. No personal data collected.
• Google AdSense — used only with explicit consent. Loads pagead2.googlesyndication.com and may set advertising cookies.
• Cloudflare Pages — site host. Standard server logs (IP, timestamp, URL) are kept by Cloudflare per their privacy policy.
• YouTube Thumbnail tool — when you use this one tool, your browser fetches an image directly from i.ytimg.com (YouTube's CDN). No authentication, no upload. See data handling for detail.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to Toolhub. It's a privacy-preserving analytics service that does NOT use cookies, does NOT fingerprint your browser, and does NOT collect personal data. Cloudflare aggregates page views, rough country, and referrer source. No individual visitor can be tracked across sessions. The data is used only to understand which tools are useful and which languages are reaching their audience.

If you prefer, you can block the beacon at the network level — it does not affect any tool's functionality. The script is loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com and gated behind a config flag; if the site operator hasn't set up analytics yet, no request is made at all.

Some links in the footer are affiliate links — if you click through and sign up to a service we recommend (e.g. hosting providers), Toolhub may earn a referral. The price you pay is unaffected. Affiliate links are tagged with rel="sponsored". See affiliate disclosure for the full list.

Your rights

Under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA / the Slovak DPA, you can request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold. We don't hold any — there is no backend, no accounts, no user database. Plausible holds only aggregated visit data. Google's ad data is governed by their own request channels.
