The short version

Tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you type into them is sent anywhere. We run no analytics and no visitor tracking of any kind. AdSense is loaded on content pages but ad requests are paused by default. A consent banner handles the consent dialog for EEA/UK visitors; you can manage your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Non-personalised ads may be served to visitors outside the EEA without a consent prompt. The rest of the site works identically regardless of your consent choice.

What we collect

Advertising

Toolhub is funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. The AdSense script is included on content pages (the homepage, tool pages and articles). Our legal and policy pages carry no ads and load no ad script.

Ad requests are paused by default on every content page. In the EEA and UK, a consent banner presents a consent dialog before any advertising cookies are set; if you decline, ad requests remain paused and no advertising cookies are stored. Outside the EEA/UK, non-personalised ads may be served without a prompt. You can review or change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to Toolhub and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Google's handling of ad data is described in Google's advertising privacy & terms.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, personalised ads require explicit consent via the banner before they are served. If you reject, only non-personalised ads (or no ads) are shown.

Cookies

The site itself uses one localStorage entry (toolhub:consent) to remember your ad-consent choice, plus a theme entry for your dark/light preference. Neither leaves your browser.

Google AdSense may set advertising cookies after consent is granted via the consent banner. You can change your choice anytime via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Third-party services

Analytics

Toolhub runs no analytics. There is no Plausible, no Google Analytics, and no page-view counter. The codebase includes an optional Cloudflare Web Analytics hook (cookieless and IP-anonymised by design), but it ships disabled — the config token is empty and the Cloudflare zone's Web Analytics is turned off, so no beacon script is loaded and no analytics request is made. Cloudflare, as the site's host, still receives standard request metadata (IP, timestamp, URL) to serve and protect the site.

Affiliate links

Some links in the footer are affiliate links — if you click through and sign up to a service we recommend (e.g. hosting providers), Toolhub may earn a referral. The price you pay is unaffected. Affiliate links are tagged with rel="sponsored". See affiliate disclosure for the full list.

Your rights

Under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA / the Slovak DPA, you can request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold. We don't hold any — there is no backend, no accounts, no user database. Google's ad data is governed by their own request channels.
